These terms apply when you use ESGListings, run by ESG Listings. By using the site you agree to them.

1. What we provide

A directory of ESG software and service providers, with verified reviews, comparisons and a guide to which reporting rules may apply. Listings describe companies using information they provide or publish. We don’t endorse any provider, and you should check details with them before buying.

2. Not professional advice

Content on this site, including the “Which rules apply?” checker, is general information, not legal, financial or professional advice. Rules change and have detailed tests; talk to a qualified adviser before relying on it.

3. Accounts

• Give accurate information and keep your password safe.
• Only create or claim a listing for a company you’re authorised to represent.
• One listing per company website.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

4. Company content

You’re responsible for the information, logos and images you add to your listing, and you confirm you have the right to use them. You let us display, format and share that content on the site and in links to it. Don’t make false or misleading claims, and keep your listing up to date.

5. Reviews

Reviews must follow our review guidelines. By submitting a review you confirm it’s your honest experience and you let us publish it. We check reviews before publishing and may refuse or remove ones that break the guidelines. Providers can reply publicly and report reviews, but can’t edit or delete them, and nobody can pay us to remove a review.

6. Paid plans: Verified, Sponsored and Spotlight

Sponsored and Spotlight placement is paid advertising and is always labelled “Sponsored”. It doesn’t change a provider’s ratings, reviews, or position in the main results.

• Plans and payment. Paid plans are billed yearly (or as shown when you subscribe), in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe. Payments are processed by Razorpay; by paying you also accept Razorpay’s terms. Prices include or exclude taxes as stated next to the price.
• Renewal. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If we change the price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
• Cancelling. You can cancel any time from your account. Your plan stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your listing becomes a free listing. We don’t refund part periods, except where the law requires it or we end Sponsored early for a reason that isn’t your fault.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay will try again for a few days. If it still fails, Sponsored is switched off and your free listing stays live.
• Verified. The Verified fee covers our check of your company’s details. We add the Verified badge only after the check and may decline or remove it if the details don’t hold up. Paying doesn’t guarantee the badge and doesn’t affect ranking.
• When a plan ends. Each plan allows a set number of categories of each type (Free 1, Verified 2, Sponsored and Spotlight 5), so we keep your main categories up to the new limit and remove the others. You can add them back if you subscribe again.
• Our rules still apply. Paying doesn’t exempt a listing from these terms. If we remove a Sponsored listing because it breaks them, we won’t refund the current period.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t scrape or copy the directory in bulk, send spam through our forms, impersonate anyone, upload harmful files, or try to get around our security or rate limits.

8. Intellectual property

The site’s design, text and software belong to us or our licensors. Company names and logos belong to their owners. XBRL is a registered trademark of XBRL International, Inc.

9. Liability

We provide the site “as is”. We work to keep information accurate but can’t guarantee it’s complete or current. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses from using the site or from dealings with providers listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. You can stop using the site and close your account at any time by emailing us.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
